The school follows Tanzanian Nursery and Primary Schools Curriculum . English is the medium of instruction in all subjects except Kiswahili. The subjects offered by the school are English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Vocational Skills, Physical Education (P.E) and computer classes.
The School Academic year is divided into two terms of six months each. The academic year starts in January and ends in November. The terms are as outlined here below:
Examinations.
Evaluation of pupil’s academic progress is done through class work, home work, mid – term and end of term examinations. Mid – term examinations are conducted in the seventh week of the term whereas terminal examinations are done in the 11th Week of the term.
Parents’ Day.
The School organises a Parents’ Day after every mid – term and end of term examinations. Parents’ Day is a special moment, as it provides opportunity for parents and teachers to share and exchange ideas that, focuses on improving pupils’ academic performance.
Pupil Promotion.
For a pupil to be promoted to the next higher level, she or he has to obtain at least an average score of 80% for Nursery School and 75% for Primary School.
