About Fortune

Fortune School was established in the year 2013 and was registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training under Registration Number DS.02/07/080 (Primary School) 01/7.EA.080 (Nursery School) . Fortune School is located in Kinyerezi Ward, Ilala Municipal Council , Dar Es Salaam City in Tanzania. Fortune School provides Nursery and Primary School education for all pupils irrespective of their culture, religion, sex or race.

Our Services

Education Service

Provision of education service is a core function of Fortune School. The School provides Nursery and Primary School education for all pupils irrespective of their culture, religion, sex or race. At present the School enrolls pupils of all grades for Nursery School education and grade I to III for Primary School education. Annual school fees are paid in three installments.

School Admission and Classification

Fortune School enrolls children in both Nursery and Primary Classes. Nursery classes are classified as follows:

• Baby Class - 2 & 6 months to 4 years
• Middle Class - 4 - 5 years
• Top Class - 5 - 6 years

Admission for primary school grade one is done to 5 -7 years old children who have completed Nursery School education. Further, children must pass primary one entry examinations which are conducted at our School.

Supporting Services

In addition to provision of education service, the School provides other supporting services which are required to ensure that the teaching and learning process is executed efficiently and effectively. These services include:

Transport Service

Fortune School provides transport service to all pupils in need .Transport charges have to be paid in full for three months (per term) before the beginning of the school term. The amount of transport charge per term depends on mileages from school to the residence of a pupil.

Catering Service

The school provides health and delicious meals which meet tastes and preference of children of different age and lifestyle backgrounds.

Sports and Amusement

Fortune School has sports and amusement facilities which include jumping castle, slides, swings, football and volleyball pitches. These facilities are important in ensuring that our pupils are facilitated to relax, enjoy and refresh their minds during break time.
